Tannis Slimmon is Canadian Folk Music Awards' contemporary vocalist of the year (2008)! With her sparkling eyes and gentle smile, this songstress has appeared on numerous albums, contributing songs or singing harmony (a huge passion), including her latest award-winning Lucky Blue, a follow up to her first solo offering Oak Lake.

"A breathtaking vocalist with a bright, angelic disposition, Slimmon is a favourite folk attraction whose harmonies are as warm as her smile.” Exclaim

"....one of the most beautiful voices I have had the pleasure to listen to." David Francey
